About the Young Professional Development Network (YPDN)

YPDN is a network of driven young professionals who are eager to develop their careers while making a change in the Toronto community. The network was founded in June 2014, with the goal of strengthening ties within a determined group of young professionals in the Greater Toronto Area. Outside of online platforms, there are very few formal settings that allow for career progression in terms of networking and self-education. Upon realizing this, the YPDN founders began their journey to fill this gap and, several weeks later, YPDN was born.

Today, YPDN prides itself on providing its members value through its two pillar model. The first pillar “Career Progression” creates opportunities for members to network and meet likeminded individuals within Toronto, across a myriad of industries. Moreover, YPDN also delivers innovative workshops as well as a speaker series that allows members to learn and practice essential skills for their careers. The second pillar “Community Involvement” revolves around the idea that giving back to the Toronto community is also important. YPDN believes that it can offer financial and exceptional skill based donations to grass roots initiatives based out of the GTA.
